ABOUT F.A.M.E.

F.A.M.E. (Foundations & Acceleration for Management Excellence) is BDRB’S FREE national incubator (STAGE 1) program designed to strengthen capacity, leadership and sustainability for Black Canadian music artist managers.

F.A.M.E. provides intensive training, mentorship and industry access for Black Canadian music artist managers seeking to grow their management businesses and support artists on a global scale.

With a combination of practical knowledge, a critical educational component and a unique cultural lens, F.A.M.E. equips participants with the practical skills, networks and confidence needed to build stronger careers and foster more success stories.

F.A.M.E. is developed from the ground up with a detailed curriculum specifically curated FOR the needs of Black music artist managers from the perspective of Black music industry professionals who have successfully navigated the industry.

At its core, F.A.M.E. is about access, mentorship, and community, creating space for Black music managers to thrive, lead the next generation of Canadian music, and build the competence required for future export missions and broader industry opportunities. THE program IS built to foster innovative problem-solving skills for the future challenges of the music industry, from disruptive technologies to new models of artist sustainability and equity.
